Q: At what age do I become eligible to play in the Cape Old Timer’s Softball League?
A: Players must be 57 years of age or older
Q: Must I be a resident of Cape Cod to join the League?
A: Absolutely not; we have players that come from Rhode Island and the Boston area
Q: Are women eligible to play in the League?
A: Yes they are; presently there are two women who play and there is room for more
Q: How long does the season last and how many games are played?
A: Each team plays 3 pre-season games starting about May 20th. The regular season, consisting of approximately 28 games, runs from about May 30 to about August 25. The playoffs, a double-elimination tournament, culminate with the Championship game on the day before Labor Day.
Q: Do I have to have my own bat?
A: Most players do but there are usually bats available to use
